Frequently asked
The questions buyers ask first.
If the answer you need is not here, ask it directly — we would rather answer a specific question than point you at a brochure.
What exactly do you manufacture?
Wool felt, wool-blend felt, PET felt, pre-oxidized PAN felt and carbon fibre felt — as sheet, roll and strip, and converted into finished parts: wheels, gaskets, seals, damping pads, acoustic panels, filter elements and consumer felt goods. Felt is the whole of our business, so a specification outside our catalogue is a normal request rather than an exception.
What is your minimum order quantity?
It depends on the product and how much customisation is involved. Standard sheet and roll materials start lower than die-cut, laminated or self-adhesive parts, because those carry tooling and set-up cost. Tell us the item and the annual volume and we will quote a real MOQ rather than a generic figure.
Can you match a sample we already buy from another supplier?
Yes. Sample-based reverse customisation is the core of how we work. Send the sample with the dimensions and the conditions it has to survive; we identify fibre type, density and thickness, produce a matched sample, and move to production only after you approve it.
What do samples cost and how long do they take?
Sampling is kept short and runs in parallel with the quotation, so you are not waiting for one to start the other. Cost and lead time depend on whether the material already exists in our range or needs a new blend — both are confirmed with the quotation. Sample charges are normally credited against the first production order, which we will state in writing.
Do you do OEM and private label?
Yes. We can produce to your part number and pack to your carton, label and artwork, including retail-ready packing for consumer felt goods. Where a product carries your brand, we work from your drawings and packaging specification.
What information do you need to quote?
Application, dimensions (or a drawing), thickness, density or hardness preference, colour, quantity, and anything the part has to survive — temperature, compression, fluid, or a standard it must meet. If you only have the application and a photo, send that; we will ask for the rest.
What certifications do you hold?
Our Nangong production base operates an ISO 9001 quality management system and has been audited for social compliance (BSCI audit summary). Third-party material test reports can be arranged for specific properties. Certification documents are available for your supplier file on request.
Can you certify fire performance?
We can supply flame-retardant materials and arrange testing, but fire performance is a test result rather than a datasheet claim. Tell us the standard you are designing to — building, rail, automotive or another — at enquiry stage and we will confirm what we can support before you commit to a drawing. We will not claim an approval we do not hold.
What are your payment and shipping terms?
Terms are agreed per order and confirmed on the quotation and invoice, so we will not quote a generic percentage here. Quotations can be issued on EXW, FOB or CIF terms — tell us which you need. For a first order we are happy to discuss terms that work for both sides.
How do you handle a quality problem?
Every batch is held against the approved sample. If something does not match, send photographs and the batch or carton reference so we can trace it through production records. We resolve it against that reference rather than against a description.
Can we visit the factory?
Yes. Customers are welcome at our Fujian office and, with notice, at the Nangong production base. Tell us the dates and what you want to see — the needling line, the sample room, or a specific product run.
Do you supply small quantities for testing?
Yes. A trial quantity or sample set before a production order is normal practice here, particularly for a first specification. Tell us what you need to test and we will propose something proportionate.
Still deciding
Start with a sample, not a purchase order.
Most of our long-term customers began with a single part posted to us and a sample sent back. It is a cheaper way to find out whether the material is right than a trial container.

Start with a sample
Send the part. We will send the felt.
Drawings, photos, old samples and rough specifications are all fine. Tell us the application and the conditions, and we will come back with a material recommendation and a price.
